The Hotel Minneapolis is located in downtown near the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. The HHH Metrodome is the home stadium of some of the Twin Cities best sports teams; the Minnesota Vikings football team, the Minnesota Twins baseball team and the Minnesota Gophers college football team.

In addition to being the home of the Twins, Vikings and the University of Minnesota football teams, the Metrodome has served as the recreation room for the State of Minnesota hosting amateur events, cultural events and family focused activities.
