The Hotel Minneapolis is located in downtown near the Twin Cities best sports teams and venues like the Metrodome home of the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings and close to the Target Center and more. The Minneapolis Skyway system provides access from The Hotel Minneapolis to the Target Center and provides protection from the weather all year round.

  • Minnesota Vikings - Experience the passion of purple pride at a Vikings game. Savvy fans stay or stop at The Hotel Minneapolis before and after the game or hop the light rail transit line to the Metrodome, making getting to the game a snap.

  • Minnesota Twins - For big-league fun, catch the Minnesota Twins at the Metrodome. The two-time World Series Champs recently broke ground on a new downtown stadium. The new digs will be ready for Opening Day 2010.

  • Minnesota Timberwolves - Head downtown to the Target Center for fast-breaking action. Former MVP Kevin Garnett may be gone, but a slew of talented young players promise to heat up the court.

  • Minnesota Wild - Get tickets early to see the Minnesota Wild take the ice. Sell-out crowds fill the pristine Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul. They don't call Minnesota "The State of Hockey" for nothing.

  • Minnesota Lynx - Catch stellar WNBA play at the Target Center from May through September. This young team is poised for a high-scoring season in 2008.

  • Minnesota Thunder and Minnesota Lightning - Men's and women's first division United Soccer League teams are making plays from April through September at Saint Paul's Griffin Stadium. Popular heritage nights feature ethnic food, music and dance.

  • Saint Paul Saints - Check out these minor-league boys of summer. Packed with quirky activities between innings—including pig races and lunch box giveaways—fans are guaranteed a good time.

  • Minnesota Swarm - Catch the buzz at the Xcel Center. Don't know much about lacrosse? Think hockey played on turf, with lots more scoring. The season runs January through April.

  • Minnesota Vixen - Women's football? That's right. The Vixen are one of 14 teams in the Women's Professional Football League. Take in a game in Saint Paul August through October.
